Tactical Air Control Party Training Center (TACP TC) was established in 2007 and the main responsibility is to provide complex training in accordance with NATO/US standards for Joint Terminal Attack Controllers, pilots conducting Close Air Support missions and ground personnel engaged in Joint Fires Support operations. Since 2013, when Memorandum of agreement between the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia concerning mutual support in training of Joint Terminal Attack Controllers/Forward Air Controllers was signed, the Training Center has been operating as the Tactical Air Control Party Training Center with international staff.
TACP TC conducts courses for all Services of Polish Armed Forces:
- JTAC Initial Qualification Course,
- JTAC Methodology Course,
- TACP Personnel Course,
- Close Air Support for Pilots Course,
- Radio Comms&CAS Phraseology Course,
- Forward Observers Course.
As the result of the visit of a combined NATO and US accreditation team (NATO FAC Capability Section and US Joint Fire Support Executive Steering Committee), TACP TC has been granted the accreditation of JTAC Training Program. Consequently, TACP TC became the first accredited JTAC Training Center in Central Europe authorized to grant JTAC certification recognizable across the NATO. TACP TC is ready to provide the training for international students.
