Cooperation with LOT

On May 21st, 2018 Polish Air Force Academy established formal cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines Joint Stock Company (PLL LOT S.A.) -the leading airlines in Central and Eastern Europe.

The cooperation aims at deepening of the existing aviation and technical knowledge, exchanging of theoretical and practical experiences in the field of civil aviation and widening of scholary, scientific and professional prospects among the staff, students and graduates of PAFA. Another significant point of this agreement is the launch of dual-system courses in the academic year 2020/2021 as well as the introduction of  practical education as part of engineering studies majoring in aviation and aerospace at the specialization of  aeronautical engineering allowing our graduates to access the right to exercise the profession of an aircraft mechanics technician.

We have agreed on the training and educating of candidates for the position of a civil pilot with the largest national carrier. It is a great advantage for our school to directly cooperate with such a recognizable operator. PLL LOT S.A. is a dynamically developing airline operating at the intercontinental level and its fleet belongs to one of the most  state-of-the-art fleets all over the world.

“As the operator being in the phase of very fast development, we are extremely glad to have an opportunity to benefit from the human resources that the School of Eaglets is preparing for us. We are planning to employ over 300 pilots in the nearest future. Our intention is to make it possible for the students to smoothly enter the structures of PLL LOT. Young people are given the chance to have an excellent civil career. The world now needs pilots, engineers and experts in new technologies.” – emphasized Rafał Milczarski,  the President of the Board of PLL LOT.

 The agreement has been signed between Rector-Commander General Brigadier Pilot Piotr Krawczyk, PhD and Rafał Milczarski,  the President of the Board of PLL LOT. Rector- Commander  of the Polish Air Force Academy is deeply convinced  that this is the beginning of the long-lasting and successful cooperation that will enable our students to acquire knowledge and skills and will positively affect their future professional carrier paths.
